Responsibilities:
EDM Operations:
Set up and operate EDM machines to create intricate shapes and profiles using electrical discharge machining techniques.
Program, adjust, and troubleshoot EDM equipment to achieve precise tolerances and finishes according to engineering specifications.
Grinding:
Perform grinding operations on various materials, such as metals and alloys, to achieve tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes.
Select appropriate grinding wheels and tools based on material properties and specific job requirements.
Honing:
Utilize honing machines to refine surfaces and improve geometrical accuracy in precision components.
Choose appropriate honing stones and parameters for each project to achieve desired results.
Monitor and maintain the integrity of honing tools and machines to ensure consistent output quality.
Quality Control:
Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined parts to verify adherence to design specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators to verify dimensional accuracy.
Make necessary adjustments to machining processes to meet quality standards.
Machine Maintenance:
