Accounting Systems Analyst

This is an ON SITE role. Ideal candidate is a Senior Accountant with system integration testing experience
CV Resources has partnered with a very large and stable company located in Chicago, IL looking to add an Accountant/Accounting Systems analyst to their team! This role requires knowledge of system integration testing.
Please note the current offices are in Franklin Park and will be relocating to West Chicago by end of year.
Responsibilities
Perform testing scenarios within accounting systems as needed for software patches and updatesAssist in identifying areas of improvement and implementing enhancements and/or automationDeliver support to users, addressing functionality questions and resolving issuesIdentify process enhancements, implement them, and uphold strong internal controls.Contribute to integration strategies, testing, deployment, and post-deployment requirements.Maintain entity structure and financial information in financial reporting platformSupport monthly closing processAnalyze accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and appropriate recording of information and calculation and directs correcting entries resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities and making sure all phases of the general ledger, month end and financial statements are correct.
Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred but not requiredOnly considering candidates with 5-7 years of experience.Strong knowledge Accounting ERP systems requiredIT Accounting Systems analyst background is a plusGood communication skills both written and verbalTeam player and outgoing personality
