US Smokeless Tobacco Company's role is to responsibly manufacture and market USSTC brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way, and to provide marketing services to PM USA for its smokeless products. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Business Unit Leader - Electrical to join our Maintenance department in Franklin Park, Illinois.
The successful candidate will be responsible to support the USSTC Franklin Park facility operations. Specific accountabilities include:
Manage the electrical technicians, mentor and provide development plans to improve their technical skills and ability
The ability to manage salaried and hourly maintenance resources when assigned
Analyzing data and applying problem solving techniques to develop and implement improvements for methods, processes, products, systems, documentation and/or equipment.
Planning and assigning work, monitoring progress and providing direction to ensure high quality, cost effective results.
Provide programming and troubleshooting of the following types of systems in a manufacturing environment: PLC (Allen-Bradley); HMI/SCADA (Wonderware, Rockwell Software, Microsoft .NET); Vision (Keyence, Cognex)
Providing on-shift trouble shooting and technical solutions for control and process system problems encountered during production runs, supporting areas such as packing, processing, utilities or facilities infrastructure.
Provide Electrical and Control Systems Engineering support to various clients - including but not limited to: Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Systems, and Quality
Develop technical work requests and provide electrical expertise to multiple manufacturing departments
Provide technical leadership for Electrical Technicians
Provide support and collaborate with engineers assigned to implement capital projects and/or assign other Maintenance support resources to do the same.
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Manufacturing to develop scopes of work and business justification in support of Franklin Park operations.
Develop technical expertise with others to ensure that technical knowledge is transferred to Manufacturing and other Maintenance resources.
Identify and lead initiatives related to process improvements, cost reduction, quality improvements and safe work practices.
Provide direction and guidance for standards, methodologies and design reviews for control systems, instrumentation, and associated components.
Provide electrical/control system expertise for the startup, validation & commissioning of new and changing processes/machines
Developing and sharing relevant information to support and focus problem solving and process improvement efforts of Natural Work Teams in line with key measures, business goals, and strategic initiatives.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
